Carter Beauford and Jeff Coffin will join producer Jason Miles and other outstanding jazz musicians on April 1st at Berks Jazz Fest in Reading, PA to present the first live performance of Miles’ memorable 2000 album, Celebrating the Music of Weather Report.
Jason Miles assembled an array of contemporary jazz heavyweights to honor the 30th anniversary of the formation of Weather Report, one of the pre-eminent early jazz fusion bands led by Joe Zawinul, Wayne Shorter and Miroslav Vitous.
The annual Berks Jazz Fest is presented by Berks Arts Council, located in Reading, PA. The mission of Berks Arts Council is to cultivate, promote, and support the arts in our community through collaboration, education, and presentation.
