THE ROAD TO ZERO WASTE STARTS IN 2024
This summer, the band is partnering with Live Nation’s operated venues to minimize the concerts’ footprint – with the goal to divert at least 90% of fan-generated waste from landfills. Leveraging its existing leading sustainability resources, Live Nation will support the concerts’ goal by providing zero waste green teams, zero waste stations, food donations, waste sorting, composting and the use of minimal single-use plastic.

TOUR GREENING
Along with the tree campaign, DMB has joined forces with REVERB to neutralize not only the band’s carbon emissions but also the fans’ carbon footprint, resulting in a climate positive tour. The band has a long history of reducing their environmental footprint, and has neutralized their tour carbon going back to their first shows in 1991. Additionally, DMB takes the following efforts to make their shows as green as possible:
ECO-VILLAGE
Since 2005, DMB has engaged fans in the Eco-Village, encouraging them to take environmental actions and learn about what they can do to help the Earth and their communities. The village hosts local and national non-profits at each show and encourages fans to take actions such as reducing plastic waste; registering to vote with HeadCount; donating to the DMB tree campaign; and pledging to Go Electric. Fans can sign up to volunteer in the Eco Village at Reverb.org .
